Bluesfest, the second wave
FOLK rock supergroup Crosby, Stills and Nash join the second wave of acts which have been added to the 2012 Bluesfest line-up. The trio were among 13 new acts that join the festival. They include The Specials, Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt and The Combo, Donovan, Angelique Kidjo, Seasick Steve, Keb Mo, Nick Lowe, Rosie Ledet, Seth Lakeman, Harry Manx, Fabulous Thunderbirds and Alamamba 3. Crosby, Stills and Nash are famed for their intricate vocal harmonies and lasting influence on music and culture. The trio performed an acoustic set for Occupy Wall Street protesters in New York’s Zuccotti Park last week. New acts join first wave acts that include Roger Daltrey performing The Who’s Tommy and more, Earth Wind and Fire, The Pogues, John Butler Trio, My Morning Jacket, Yes and G3 featuring Joe Satriani.
