JEREMY Patterson and his family attempt to move an 18th-century home 8km down the road when a new series of Heavy Haulers launches tonight. Patterson owns a multimillion-dollar family business that moves monstrous structures: his goal is to become America’s No.1 mover. Wife Tonya is the office manager who holds the business together, 12-year-old Greg is being groomed to take over the family business and 8-year-old Ashley is a ‘‘fire cracker’’ who is a little reluctant to be a part of the business. ‘‘Most kids like to play during summer vacation,’’ Jeremy. says ‘‘Not ours, they would rather be on a job site.’’ On top of the daily pressures of moving monstrous buildings, Jeremy has heart issues. As a dad and a husband he has to juggle family commitments with the responsibilities of work.
