HOT on the well­cooled heels of Vanilla Ice and Flo Rida, R’N’B duo SaltN-pepa are set to push it real good at the next Glis­ten Pool Party, at Jupiters Ho­tel & Casino. The US stars, who started way back in 1985 un­der the name Su­per Na­ture!, were on the Gold Coast as part of the Good Vibrations bill in 2010 and tick­ets for their De­cem­ber 4 pool party aren’t ex­pected to last long when they go on sale to­day. Salt (Ch­eryl James) and Pepa (Sandy Den­ton) are def­i­nite fan favourites Down Un­der. On their way to sell­ing more than 15 mil­lion records world­wide in the past 25 years, Salt-n-pepa carved a trail for women in hip hop. The first fe­male rap­pers to win a Grammy Award, the pair are best known for their hits Push It, Let’s Talk About Sex, Shoop, Whatta Man, Do You Want Me and Tramp. DJ Beni, Sam­pol­ogy, Sure­cut Kids and Jamie Lee Wilson have se­cured the cov­eted sup­port spots for the Salt-n-pepa pool­side splash at Glis­ten.
