Brit sitcom gets festive

The Gold Coast Bulletin - Play Magazine - - TV -

THERE will be laughs to be had from the Christmas special for Brit sitcom Outnumbered. The special opens on Boxing Day in the Brockman household. Santa has paid a visit. So have some burglars. While Mum (Claire Skinner) and Dad (Hugh Dennis) try to maintain the festive spirit, Ben (Daniel Roche) wreaks havoc with a mechanical hand, Jake (Tyger DrewHoney) argues the case for pirated music and Karen (Ramona Marquez) is busy writing New Year’s resolutions – not just for herself, but for the rest of the family and US President Barack Obama. Guests will arrive soon – some welcome; some less so. The pressure is on Dad to get lunch on the table until he asks the question – where’s Grandad?
