NEP­TUNE Pro­duc­tions hosts a Youth The­atre Work­shop for young per­form­ers aged five to 18 years from Jan­uary 12 to 21. The full-time school-hol­i­day work­shop runs from 9am to 2pm (Qld time) at Tweed Civic Cen­tre The­atre. Qual­i­fied teach­ers lec­ture in sub­jects such as the­atre skills, per­for­mance tech­niques, gym­nas­tics, dance, stage com­bat and vo­cals. Email nep­tune­prods@big­pond.com to ap­ply. The work­shop con­cludes with Youth The­atre pro­duc­tions of Very Cool Cats of Ja­ca­masu: The Mu­si­cal and The Hooseema­jingers!, both on Jan­uary 21 from 1pm (Qld time).

THOUGH most lo­cal the­atre com­pa­nies take a well-earned break dur­ing the hol­i­days, re­hearsals be­gin soon for Gold Coast Lit­tle The­atre’s sea­son of Cosi and Javeen­bah’s Doubt – The Para­ble.
