G. 1962. Last Bob Hope and Bing Crosby Road movie and not the funniest, though a host of stars pop up in cameo roles. Plot concerns a secret Russian rocket fuel formula, memorised by Hope, which makes him the target of spies. There are some scenes of Hong Kong in the 1960s and the gags are always fun. 8.30pm, Movie One
M. 2010. Two baseballmad teenage brothers run away across the country in a bid to see their idol, Roberto Clemente, hit his 3000th ball. Rory Culkin and Trevor Morgan star with Ray Liotta cast as dad. Based on a real-life tale and directed Gregory J. Lanesey. 9.30pm, Go!
AV. 1992. Tawdry thriller about a woman who may or may not have killed numerous partners and may or may not be lesbian, but certainly seems to have little use for underwear. Michael Douglas is the infatuated cop who’s assigned to the case. Notable only for Sharon Stone’s steamy presence and the subsequent controversy devoted to her shortage of panties. 9.30pm, SBS TWO
MA. 2009. Single parents, debt collector Francesco Garrido and car thief Aida Folch, seem to have something going between them but the plot thickens when her petty crook father becomes involved in a jewel fencing operation that involves crooked cops. A taut Spanish thriller is a gutwrencher, tightening the tension with each new scene.
