The Gold Coast Bulletin - Play Magazine - - TV -

about the end of an era. Saturday marks the final episode of the tenth and final series of the British spy series Spooks. As the man responsible for the kidnapping of CIA’S deputy-director, Harry (Peter Firth, pictured) is handed over for deportation to the US. But when fresh evidence reveals that there are darker forces at work, his team break him out. Harry’s suspicions now lead him to another of his former Cold War adversaries.

Events are thrown into turmoil when Elena (Alice Krige) reveals detailed knowledge of a new attack on the UK: a passenger jet is approaching London and cannot be contacted. Is it a 9/11-style suicide mission? Or do Harry’s real enemies want to trigger a bigger conflict by convincing him to shoot down a plane load of innocent civilians?

Saturday, 8.30pm, ABC1.
