Bag Raiders in the mix

have been wow­ing in­ter­na­tional au­di­ences with their en­er­getic live per­for­mances over the last 12 months, but Bag Raiders (pic­tured) – aka duo Chris Stracey and Jack Glass – are tak­ing time out over the Easter long week­end to re­turn to Australia for a bunch of ex­clu­sive DJ sets. With their long over­due, de­but self-ti­tled al­bum fi­nally com­plete, the pair re­turn home for its first run of Aus­tralian shows this year. To­mor­row, Bag Raiders will cel­e­brate the re­lease of the deluxe reis­sue of the record, fea­tur­ing the orig­i­nal favourites and 10 new remixes, ahead of their show in By­ron Bay on Mon­day night. ‘‘Mixes chart our mu­si­cal tastes as they fol­low the trends from deep house to trance­hall, two-step and be­yond,’’ they say. ‘‘To­wards the end of the year you might even find some ad­vance tastes and sneak peaks of tracks we’re work­ing on for our sec­ond al­bum, due some time shortly af­ter the apoc­a­lypse.’’
