A hell of a following
fans will get a second chance to see the new instalment of hit Japanese anime franchise Bleach, with the new film, Hell Verse to get a second Gold Coast film festival screening due to popular demand. Masakazu Morita (pictured), voice of the lead character Ichigo Kurosaki and director Noriyuki Abe, flew in from Japan to conduct an anime masterclass and premiere the new film at Birch Carroll and Coyle, Australia Fair, last week. Bleach the Movie: Hell Verse screened at the film festival almost a year ahead of its projected world premiere. Bleach began as a manga (graphic novel) and evolved into film, toys and television series with 350 episodes produced over eight years. It follows the adventures of Kurosaki Ichigo, a teen who sees ghosts.
