Sebastian (pictured) is one step closer to walking the same path to fame as his older brother Guy, after surviving Tuesday’s cut-throat battle round on The Voice. The 23-year-old made it through to the top six on Seal’s team after being chosen ahead of Yshrael Pascual on Channel 9’s blockbuster TV talent show. Guy Sebastian carved a successful musical career after winning the first season of Australian Idol in 2003. Semi-pro skateboarder Lakyn Heperi also made it through to the remaining six on Joel Madden’s team. The highly fancied Heperi, who has thousands of Youtube followers after recording songs in his bedroom and posting them online, was chosen by Madden to advance ahead of teammate Nick Len. The coaches – Seal, Madden, Delta Goodrem and Keith Urban – pit their own artists against each other in rounds to reduce teams from 12 to six singers. Others who go on to the next round are Viktoria Bolonina, Jimmy Cupples (Urban), Michael Duchesne (Seal), Danni Da Ros (Goodrem), Taga Paa (Urban) and Laura Bunting (Madden).
