PG. 1986. New mil­i­tary killing ro­bot is struck by light­ning and, mirac­u­lously, comes to life, where­upon he es­capes from the lab­o­ra­tory. In­ven­tor Steve Gut­ten­berg tries to save him from be­ing dis­as­sem­bled. Cute, an­tiTer­mi­na­tor com­edy thriller has an ap­peal­ing mes­sage of peace and is funny to boot. M. 2011. They try to avoid Hol­ly­wood rom­com-style cliches, but Dy­lan (Justin Tim­ber­lake) and Jamie (Mila Ku­nis) soon dis­cover adding sex to their friend­ship leads to com­pli­ca­tions. Play­ful and funny, this screwball com­edy is bet­ter than its cen­tral theme of sex with­out com­mit­ment im­plies. 9.30pm, Go!

M. 1985. Roller­coaster ac­tion about a fu­ture when ro­bots and hu­mans are locked in a bat­tle for sur­vival. Mur­der­ous ro­bot Arnold Sch­warzeneg­ger is sent back in time to kill the mother of a fu­ture re­sis­tance leader; the re­sis­tance, mean­while, send back one of their own to pro­tect her. Brisk di­rec­tion keep this bub­bling. Michael Biehn.
