Sarah Jessica Parker slotted as guest on Glee
Jessica Parker (pictured) and Kate Hudson have become the latest stars to land a guest spot on a new season of the hit US TV series Glee. Parker, star of Sex and the City, and new mum Hudson have each signed up for multiepisode arcs on the show’s upcoming fourth season, set to premiere in the US later this year. Fox president Kevin Reilly says the season will feature a show-within-a-show format and also revolve around the graduating characters played by Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, and Cory Monteith.
Coming 2013, Ten, Ten SC. ‘‘ Glee is positioned for a strong year,’’ he tells The Hollywood Reporter. Details of Parker and Hudson’s characters remain unknown, but Colfer says: ‘‘I just found out Sarah Jessica Parker is coming on our show to be my mentor of sorts, so I’m really excited about that.’’ Celebrities who have previously featured in the Golden Globe Award-winning musical series include Ricky Martin, Neil Patrick Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow.
