Naomi to mentor and mould aspiring models
Campbell (pictured) is set to become a mentor on new fashion reality show The Face. The star coaches aspiring models who will go head-tohead to become the face of a major brand. The 41-year-old is one of three supermodels responsible for moulding and nurturing the contestants. The other two coaches are yet to be announced. The show will air on Oxygen, the cable network that airs America’s Next Top Model. ‘‘With The Face the audience will get a real insider’s look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me,’’ says Campbell, who wins the TV gig on the back of guest spots on scripted series including The Cosby Show and New York Undercover. A premiere date is yet to be set. The Face launches as America’s Next Top Model gets a revamp. Jay Manuel, Nigel Barker and J Alexander have been axed from the show.
