Things turn out badly when the gang­ster hi­jacks the plane, kid­nap­ping feisty air­line hostie He­len Slater with Rusty in hot pur­suit. Were it not for Gla­di­a­tor the ti­tle could sum up Rusty. 7.30pm, 7TWO

Touch­ing, bit­ter­sweet com­edy of teenage angst with Molly Ring­wald crav­ing ro­mance but be­ing for­got­ten in the fuss over her sis­ter’s wed­ding, while pon­der­ing the un­wel­come at­ten­tions of a fel­low stu­dent.
