Things turn out badly when the gangster hijacks the plane, kidnapping feisty airline hostie Helen Slater with Rusty in hot pursuit. Were it not for Gladiator the title could sum up Rusty. 7.30pm, 7TWO

Touching, bittersweet comedy of teenage angst with Molly Ringwald craving romance but being forgotten in the fuss over her sister’s wedding, while pondering the unwelcome attentions of a fellow student.
