Murdoch steps up as dance show host
Murdoch (pictured) hosts Channel 10’s new reality TV talent search Everybody Dance Now. The former model and ballet dancer is joined by pop stars Jason Derulo and Kelly Rowland, who sign on as dance masters. World renowned Australian choreographer Jason Gilkison joins the team as creative director. The hunt for two dance captains, who join teams helmed by Derulo and Rowland, is under way. Murdoch, the former host of pay-TV’s Australia’s Next Top Model, is passionate about dance, having studied ballet from the age of six. Everybody Dance Now starts with 80 acts competing in dance duels before a studio audience. Each night, one act will dance for a $10,000 prize.
