PG. 2009. Woebegone comedy about teen Michael Angarano’s discovery at a sci-fi conference that his fantasy novel has been ripped off by unscrupulous author Jemaine Clement. Amid a movie packed with disgusting vomiting and excrement jokes, Clement – half of Flight of the Conchords – is the sole standout. These broncos are ready for the knackery. 8.30pm, Showtime Premiere

M. 2011. Jack Black returns as Po, who is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior. But his new life is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret weapon to conquer China. Voices by Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan. 8.35pm, Gem

M. 1996. Americanisation of the French comedy La Cage Aux Folles. Gay club owner Robin Williams and his drag queen partner act like a straight couple to impress their son’s future in-laws. Lovers of the original may be disappointed but it’s a funny outing. 9.45pm, 7MATE

MA. 2004. The streets filled with fleshmunching zombies, retail nobody Simon Pegg realises it’s a great chance to win back girlfriend Kate Ashfield by saving her from the living dead. Ridiculous, but very winning zombie comedy. A real treat this.
