Little Theatre tackles a hilarious murder mystery of Agatha Christie proportions in The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Towns Women’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery, which opens tomorrow at the company’s Zamia Theatre home. The farce follows the antics of the five ladies of The Guild as they try to stage an ‘‘Agatha Christie style’’ murder mystery. This ambiguous and cunning 1930s drawing room murder mystery requires the ladies to play all 14 roles. On top of the play, the ladies present a film and fashion show and a murder mystery quiz – complete with prizes and lots of audience participation. Director Joan Stalker-Brown says the cast is ‘‘amazing’’ and audiences will be rolling in the aisles at the laugh-a-minute performances.
