DJ turns tables on career with Molly

Gervais (pictured) is the name responsible for Molly – the hard-house single which has been sending crowds wild around the world since its release in April. Molly’s heavy bass and infectious midsection also caught the attention of industry heavyweights – Madonna announced the song on stage at Ultra Music Festival in front of thousands of people and BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong played it on air three times in a row. Gervais, a French-born American-based DJ and producer, says Molly is a love story about a girl in the form of a club-smash. He says the track is getting more and more attention with top radio play and club spins each week. Gervais has been mixing dance tunes since he was 14 years old. When he was 15, he moved to Miami, in the US, to purse a career as a DJ. Gervais, who heads to the Gold Coast this weekend, continues to make a name for himself in dance music’s fast-growing DJ movement in the US.

Cedric Gervais plays Platinum Nightclub, in Broadbeach, on Saturday night.
