M. 1999. Master thief Sean Connery takes on shapely Catherine ZetaJones as a partner to steal billions of dollars as the millennium ticks over. Y2K bug of heist movies hardly ever convinces. 9.30pm, Go!

M. 2007. Journeyman version of The Invasion of the Body Snatchers may not equal the original, but still makes you shiver at the prospect of aliens taking over the human race. Psychiatrist Nicole Kidman and pal Daniel Craig wake up to the plot as their friends drift into a zombie-like state. Still a great yarn. 9.30pm, SBS TWO

M. 2004. Bombom is an aristocratic canine who has no difficulty winning medals, to the delight of his unemployed but proud owner Juan Villegas. If he’s this good, could he earn money at stud? He’s less good in bed than on the podium, despite the best efforts of Villegas and pal Walter Donando. Lovely Argentinean comedy. 10.30pm, Showtime 2

M. 2009. In this classic comedy with a mix of romance, deception, politics, sex and love, two friends are getting married, but not to each other. Screwball Irish wedding comedy. Sinead Maguire, Tom Riley.
