Miranda keeps options open on reality TV
Miranda Kerr (pictured) be the next host of Australia’s Next Top Model? ‘‘Possibly,’’ she says. Asked if she could see herself hosting a TV show similar to Sarah Murdoch, Kerr replies: ‘‘I am very busy, but it’s important for me to spend time with my son and my husband and to make sure that I have that balance.’’ Foxtel’s director of television Brian Walsh has confirmed there have been talks with Kerr. ‘‘We have met with Miranda’s management in the course of determining a talent strategy for Foxtel across a number of our properties including Australia’s Next Top Model,’’ Walsh says. ‘‘We have yet to finalise those plans but we have expressed to IMG (Kerr’s modelling agency) our interest in developing a prime-time vehicle for Miranda. It is really now up to her to decide if she wants to commit but we are keen, certainly.’’ Murdoch left the pay-TV reality series last season.
