That’s a knockout
KRISTIN Chenoweth says she’s still on the mend after suffering injuries in July while filming the legal drama The Good Wife. Appearing on a recent edition of US talk show Live! with Kelly & Michael, the actress offered details of the accident, which happened during a New York location shoot.
An overhead lighting rig collapsed, striking her in the face, slamming her to the ground and knocking her out. When she woke, co-star Josh Charles was holding her hand. ‘‘He’s my angel,’’ she says. Chenoweth, 44, said she continues to recover from a skull fracture and rib, neck and back injuries. She feels ‘‘blessed’’ the mishap wasn’t worse.
Although forced to withdraw from her recurring role on The Good Wife, she’ll appear on its season premiere, which debuts in the US at the end of the month. The Good Wife airs in Australia on Channel 10.
Hardworking Chenoweth’s recent roles include a recurring role in Glee, and a starring role in GCB ( Good Christian Bitches). Ten SC; Prime7; Fox8.
