Winners & Loser is in its second season and a third series has been commissioned.

The quick decision last month to give the green light to a third year was a relief for Bodie who says the cast have to stay ‘‘in character’’ physically between seasons until they know the fate of the series.

‘‘It’s just about staying positive and believing it would come back as I haven’t been able to audition for anything else,’’ he said. ‘‘If I want to shave my head, grow it long or dye it a different colour, I couldn’t. The thing is staying fit as it’s important for the character.’’

The cast of
