Laugh for the love of rangas
third annual Rangas for Rangas comedy event tonight raises money for orangutans, with profits going towards Borneo Orangutan Survival. Comedian Mandy Nolan hosts with the puns provided by red-headed wisecrackers Bev Killick (pictured) and Steven J. Whiteley. Killick’s life has become all about boobs since she was asked to perform as a bosom buddy in Busting Out! She accepted the offer and has now toured for the last four years in Australia, New Zealand and the UK and Edinburgh Festival. She has worked with Weird Al Yankovic, Wayne Brady and comedy duo Gina Riley and Jane Turner when she cameoed on the TV series, Kath and Kim. Rising comedy star Whiteley is also a red head – or rather a red-bearded bald man. Rangas, orangutan lovers and lovers of comedy can get together for a huge night of laughs, raffles, prizes and fun knowing the mirth will save a few furry orange friends.
Rangas for Rangas Comedy at Currumbin RSL tonight. Tickets are $25.
