Flume on the Coast and in da house

The Gold Coast Bulletin - Play Magazine - - NEWS -

off the back of a national tour for Triple J’s House Party, Flume (pictured) will show Gold Coasters how to party this weekend before he steps into Parklife’s touring bus with The Presents, Nero and Passion Pit later this month. The 20-year-old caught Australia’s attention when his track Sleepless, featuring Anthony For Cleopatra, surfaced on Triple J’s Unearthed site a year ago. The tune clocked up hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube and Soundcloud and held the No.1 spot on the iTunes Australia Electronic Chart for several weeks. Having supported The xx, Hermitude, Oscar + Martin, Chet Faker and New Navy, Flume’s smooth indie-electro beats will see him play New York’s CMJ event next month.

Flume, Mitzi, Future Classic DJs and Audun play Elsewhere Bar, in Surfers Paradise, tomorrow night.
