Star says he needs breathing room
FX network says it’s delaying the return of its hit comedy Louie until 2014. The network granted the request by the series’ Emmywinning star, Louis CK (pictured), for what he called ‘‘a little breathing room’’. Along with performing in the show, he serves as producer, writer and editor, and also creates it. Louie recently concluded its third season. CK, whose show airs in Australia on pay TV and ABC2, says he gets irritated when he’s not working but that he needs a break from the show. But he won’t be idle in the meantime. This year, he is on a live stand-up tour.
