For­tu­nate re­quest for boy band

Keat­ing has farewelled his sec­ond boy band Four­tu­nate from TV tal­ent show The X Fac­tor. but hopes the group will join him when he tours Aus­tralia next year. ‘‘I am dev­as­tated that they have left, they are way to good to go,’’ says Keat­ing. ‘‘I have a tour in March and would like to in­vite Four­tu­nate to join me.’’ Six acts will per­form al­lAus­tralian songs at an Aussie Week themed show on Mon­day. They are boy band The Col­lec­tive, men­tored by Keat­ing, and fea­tur­ing Queens­lan­ders Zach Rus­sell, 22, of Rock­hamp­ton and Trent Bell, 21, of Bris­bane; Ja­son Owen, men­tored by Spice Girl Mel B; Shi­ane Hawke and Bella Fer­raro, both men­tored by Natalie Bass­ingth­waighte; and Sa­man­tha Jade and Nathaniel Willemse men­tored by Guy Se­bas­tian. Spe­cial guests will in­clude last year’s The X Fac­tor UK win­ners Lit­tle Mix and English singer El­lie Gould­ing. An­other Aus­tralian act will be elim­i­nated on Tues­day.
