Mul­ti­ple pre­dic­tions from dif­fer­ent times and cul­tures say the date will mark a ma­jor shift in the his­tory of our planet. Di­rec­tor Andy Pickard’s doc­u­men­tary Nostradamus: 2012, which takes a de­tailed look at the prophecy, will screen at Man­dala Or­ganic Arts Cafe’s weekly movies night on Mon­day. Pre­dic­tions made by Nostradamus, the world’s most in­fa­mous prophet, have been cred­ited with an un­canny ac­cu­racy. But how much has come true, and how much of it has been made to look true by mis­in­ter­pre­ta­tion, co­in­ci­dence and cir­cum­stance? A guest speaker will an­swer.
