Aussies get the flick as US shows are axed

ac­tress Rachael Tay­lor (pic­tured) hasn’t had much luck re­cently when it comes to pick­ing a hit US TV show, with 666 Park Av­enue axed. The hor­ror se­ries, in which Tay­lor stars, will not move be­yond its first sea­son on US net­work ABC. It is one of two new se­ries axed by US net­work. The other se­ries is the ac­tion-drama Last Re­sort, star­ring Aus­tralian ac­tors Daisy Betts, Daniel Liss­ing and Dichen Lach­man. Tay­lor was cast in the 2011 re­make of Char­lie’s An­gels but the re­boot was axed af­ter just four episodes. Its can­cel­la­tion came af­ter the show suf­fered a drop of three mil­lion view­ers over one month in the US. Be­fore Char­lie’s An­gels, Tay­lor played the role of Dr Lucy Fields on the pop­u­lar Grey’s Anatomy.
