THE Bold and the Beautiful star Katherine Kelly Lang may have said goodbye to co-star and on-screen lover Ronn Moss but in the real world she just can’t shake him.
Lang says since Moss left the series – his final episode airs on Australian television on Tuesday – the two are always crossing professional paths.
Moss made his exit after 25 years, leaving Lang and John McCook as original and the longest-running cast members on the series.
In recent weeks, Lang and Moss travelled separately to Italy to appear in a Hollywood Christmas parade.
She has appeared on his interview show Ronn’s Garage.
‘‘We all had dinner on the last day but I’ve seen him many times since,’’ Lang says.
‘‘We did a commercial in Italy, judged a TV show there, and yesterday we did a Hollywood Christmas parade and hung out together for two hours beforehand.
‘‘I also did Ronn’s Garage, which will air (in the US) before Christmas and tomorrow we are going to go horseback riding to add a snippet to that show. ‘‘We are friends for life.’’ Moss, 60, announced in August he was leaving The Bold and the Beautifulto take on new challenges.
Lang remains true to the long-running series although she is also branching out.
Last month, she started an online clothing store katherinekellylangkaftans.com, which offers limited-edition kaftans.
She also wants to work on the stage when she is not filming the long-running soapie.
‘‘I would like to do a play and like to do stage, and some guest spots on different shows,’’ Lang says. ‘‘We still get time to do something as we take a week off every month. No matter how much I love Brooke, I want to play other parts.’’
Lang says the series’ longevity is its ability to remain relevant with viewers who have stuck with it for four decades.
‘‘The show has changed with the times and is keeping up with the world and issues,’’ she says.
