Dal­las re­vamp film­ing re­sumes af­ter halt to hon­our veteran star

on the Dal­las TV re­vamp has re­sumed four days af­ter the death of ac­tor Larry Hag­man (pic­tured). The veteran star, who por­trayed oil ty­coon J.R. Ewing, had been work­ing with the cast and crew on the sec­ond sea­son of the up­dated show when he passed away fol­low­ing a bat­tle with can­cer. Film­ing halted to mark Hag­man’s death. The show’s writ­ing team will al­ter the planned sto­ry­line. View­ers saw Hag­man’s char­ac­ter vow­ing to launch a ti­tanic bat­tle for con­trol of the fam­ily’s busi­ness em­pire at the close of the de­but sea­son. Hag­man features in at least the first five episodes of sea­son two. He will be re­mem­bered at two pri­vate me­mo­rial ser­vices in Texas and in Cal­i­for­nia this week. The ac­tor’s fam­ily will hold the cer­e­monies for friends and rel­a­tives be­fore his body is cre­mated. His son Pre­ston plans to spread his dad’s ashes all over the world, as per his late fa­ther’s wishes, ETon­line.com re­ports.
