Young per­form­ers on set to shine

in as­so­ci­a­tion with Art­slink Queens­land from Jan­uary 6-11, The Arts Cen­tre Gold Coast’s MAD Camp 2013: The Sum­mer Edi­tion is a multi-arts res­i­dency pro­gram for young lo­cal per­form­ers aged 10-15 years. As well as pre­par­ing for their own per­for­mance on the Arts The­atre stage for fam­ily and friends on the Fri­day night of work­shop week, par­tic­i­pants will at­tend a per­for­mance of Tap Dogs at Jupiters Ho­tel & Casino. Ben Veitch (com­mer­cial jazz), Candy B (hip-hop mu­sic), Dan Bow­den (hip-hop dance), Tony Brock­man (act­ing and au­di­tion tech­nique), Lach­lan Bell (au­ral skills), An­drew Mil­lar (mu­si­cal the­atre), Liesel Zink (chore­og­ra­phy), Jac­qui Dev­ereux (vo­cals), Sarah McLeod (de­vis­ing the­atre), Emma Tay­lor (bal­let and Pi­lates), Astrid Jor­gensen (song­writ­ing), The Sault Po­ets (cir­cus) and Ros Pa­ton (set de­sign) will tu­tor young per­form­ers as part of MAD Camp 2013.
