Seven serves up a view­ing ace with the sum­mer of ten­nis in full swing

serves up more live sum­mer ten­nis than ever, cul­mi­nat­ing in the first Grand Slam of 2013, the Aus­tralian Open from Mel­bourne Park. For the first time, the key events in the lead-up to the Aus­tralian Open – the Bris­bane In­ter­na­tional, APIA In­ter­na­tional and AAMI Kooy­ong Clas­sic will all be broad­cast live on mul­ti­chan­nel 7TWO. Four new faces join Seven’s broad­cast team for the Open this year in­clud­ing new host and Sun­rise sport pre­sen­ter Mark Beretta and former Olympic cham­pion Gi­aan Rooney, re­port­ing on the ac­tion out and about at Mel­bourne Park. The team will be led once again by the in­com­pa­ra­ble Bruce McA­vaney, and former world No. 1 and four-time Grand Slam win­ner Jim Courier as well as Aus­tralian ten­nis leg­ends Lley­ton He­witt and John New­combe. Oth­ers who will ap­pear dur­ing the event cov­er­age in­clude Todd Wood­bridge, Henri Le­conte, Hamish McLach­lan, Roger Rasheed, Sam Smith, Ren­nae Stubbs, John Fitzger­ald, Basil Zem­pi­las and Sandy Roberts. New ad­di­tions to the for­mat this year will in­clude sports re­porter Nathan Tem­ple­ton and Coxy’s Big Break and spring rac­ing pre­sen­ter Scherri-Lee Biggs.
