Karen David (pictured) was taken to hospital after she fell from a moving van while filming a stunt for TV crime drama Castle. The star was shooting a guest role on the show’s set in California when an action scene went horribly wrong. David was admitted to a local hospital suffering from a neck injury and was released hours later, but the stuntman who was working with her sustained a head injury and is said to be in a serious condition. ‘‘Karen was the actress in the scene with the stuntman. They fell from a moving van when a door would not shut. Karen was in the emergency room for hours being treated. She has been released but is in serious pain and has to wear a neck brace,’’ David’s manager William Blaylock told Deadline.com.
