Get­ting all fired up

There’s more than meets the eye in this classy spy thriller, writes

Her sub – she in­stalled the bil­lion­dol­lar cloak­ing sys­tem – is un­der siege.

She is the only one who knows it was at­tacked by the US.

When you put it that way, it sounds in­cred­i­bly stupid – more Car­rie Brad­shaw than Car­rie Mathi­son.

But once you get past the stupid stuff, such as the sex-god­dess sub­ma­rine tech de­signer and the equally gor­geous sub’s Chief Nav­i­ga­tor, Grace (Daisy Betts) there’s some­thing here. Cap­tain Chap­lin is a ca­reer sailor. He’s all-Amer­i­can hero and he’s just com­mit­ted trea­son.

The US says the sub was at­tacked by a Pak­istani mis­sile.
