An­der­son, Tay­lor team up in US spy thriller

what would be her first reg­u­lar US se­ries role since The X-Files, Gil­lian An­der­son (pic­tured, left) has been cast in a role in the stu­dio’s NBC drama pi­lot from writer-ex­ec­u­tive pro­ducer Rand Ravich. She is joined in the un­ti­tled project by Aus­tralian Rachael Tay­lor ( 666 Park Av­enue, right). De­scribed as an emo­tion­ally charged ac­tion thriller, the new se­ries is set in and around the world of Washington DC. The pi­lot fol­lows an ide­al­is­tic Se­cret Ser­vice agent who finds him­self at the epi­cen­tre of an in­ter­na­tional cri­sis on his first day on the job as the Pres­i­dent’s son’s pro­tec­tion when the son, along with sev­eral of his class­mates, are kid­napped. Tay­lor will play FBI agent Susie Dunn, who is re­spon­si­ble for get­ting in­for­ma­tion from the chil­dren’s par­ents and whose bi­o­log­i­cal daugh­ter Am­ber is among the kid­napped. An­der­son will play Susie’s sis­ter Meg, who has been rais­ing Am­ber as her own.
