CEL­E­BRAT­ING the unique vibe of the Gold Coast, the free month-long Surfers Par­adise Fes­ti­val con­tin­ues this week­end with a bar­rel of colour­ful free mu­sic, art, food and en­ter­tain­ment events. High­lights this week­end in­clude: Launch It, Hard Rock Rocks the Beach, Surfers Par­adise Beach: Party with The Pot­belleez and Aus­tralia’s Got Tal­ent star Ti­mo­matic (pic­tured) play to­mor­row night from 5.15pm to 9pm. The Black Sor­rows, Hunters & Col­lec­tors front­man Mark Sey­mour and The Choir­boys show them how it’s done on Satur­day night from 4.15pm to 9pm. En­try to both events is free. The Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Par­adise hosts the of­fi­cial af­ter par­ties to­mor­row (with Pot­belleez) and Satur­day (with DJ Tal­lie) from 9pm to mid­night. Magic Bus, Surfers Par­adise precinct: The Magic Bus of­fers mu­sic on the move for a colour­ful and wacky ride through town. Satur­day and Sun­day from mid­day to 5pm. Free en­try. Sounds of Sun­set, Surfers Par­adise Fore­shore: The Fore­shore Mar­kets come alive to the fresh sounds of jazz, blues and soul mu­sic. Show Wed­nes­day from 5pm to 8pm. Free en­try.
