CELEBRATING the unique vibe of the Gold Coast, the free month-long Surfers Paradise Festival continues this weekend with a barrel of colourful free music, art, food and entertainment events. Highlights this weekend include: Launch It, Hard Rock Rocks the Beach, Surfers Paradise Beach: Party with The Potbelleez and Australia’s Got Talent star Timomatic (pictured) play tomorrow night from 5.15pm to 9pm. The Black Sorrows, Hunters & Collectors frontman Mark Seymour and The Choirboys show them how it’s done on Saturday night from 4.15pm to 9pm. Entry to both events is free. The Hard Rock Cafe Surfers Paradise hosts the official after parties tomorrow (with Potbelleez) and Saturday (with DJ Tallie) from 9pm to midnight. Magic Bus, Surfers Paradise precinct: The Magic Bus offers music on the move for a colourful and wacky ride through town. Saturday and Sunday from midday to 5pm. Free entry. Sounds of Sunset, Surfers Paradise Foreshore: The Foreshore Markets come alive to the fresh sounds of jazz, blues and soul music. Show Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. Free entry.
