TUGUN Theatre Company’s May production is the farcical comedy not Now Darling by Ray Cooney and John Chapman. Jillian Rawlings is in the director’s chair and is busy with final rehearsals. The play is set in the London fur salon of womaniser Gilbert Bodley and the innocent Arnold Crouch. ALTHOUGH some of us are seeing her at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, it’s interesting to see The Arts Centre Gold Coast and the Gold Coast Jazz and Blues Club unite to present Molly Ringwald in concert in the Paradise Showroom on June 22. The show, definitely a coup, will celebrate the release of the American actress, singer, dancer and author’s first solo jazz album. Dinner and show packages are on sale.
