A French woman, jilted at 40 by her life­long lover, reawak­ens as a 16-year-old with a chance to live a dif­fer­ent life. She re­solves to avoid her fu­ture hus­band, but finds her­self fall­ing for his charms all over again. They say: Al­though they would have liked a lit­tle more orig­i­nal­ity from the story’s well-worn grooves, English­s­peak­ing crit­ics were mostly happy with the film’s gen­tle whimsy and lively French cast.
