Star turns to cheating

ACTOR Owen Wilson needed a little extra help with his lines while shooting The Internship because he struggled to get to grips with all the technology talk. Wilson co-stars with Vince Vaughn in the comedy about two middle-aged salesmen who talk their way into an internship at the Google headquarters in California. Wilson says it was hard remembering all the hi-tech info when cameras started rolling, so he enlisted a few tricks he picked up on the set of 2001’s Zoolander to prompt him in scenes. ‘‘I was having a hard time learning my dialogue. . . (I) would have cue cards, and you know, little cheat sheets and they would . . . have somebody stand off camera and give you your lines and stuff, so I was able to get through it in a credible way. I knew that it would work because I’d actually used it in Zoolander where I was supposed to speak some French and Chinese in a scene.’’

The Internship is screening now.
