CHIL­DREN’S tele­vi­sion show Kids’ WB will do a week of shows in Los An­ge­les, trav­el­ling and broad­cast­ing from the fa­mous Warner Bros stu­dios in Bur­bank, Cal­i­for­nia, from Satur­day, July 6 to 13. Hosts Lau­ren Phillips and An­drew Faulkner will take view­ers on a roller­coaster ride around the stu­dios and to take in the colour­ful sights of Venice Beach. There is also a cool day out ex­plor­ing the thrill and ex­cite­ment of a fun park that spans 105ha and is host of the most roller-coast­ers in the world: Six Flags Magic Moun­tain. As part of this great trip Phillips and Faulkner are tak­ing a 13-yearold cham­pion who was di­ag­nosed with leukaemia in 2011 and af­ter a bone mar­row trans­plant is now in re­cov­ery. James and his fam­ily, fa­ther Richard, mum Suzanne and sis­ter Anna, 11, will join Lau­ren and An­drew for the trip of a life­time. They will also be go­ing to the set of James’ favourite TV se­ries: The Big Bang The­ory and The Men­tal­ist. This life-chang­ing ex­pe­ri­ence was made pos­si­ble through My Room, a char­ity help­ing to sup­port med­i­cal re­search through the Chil­dren’s Can­cer Cen­tre at the Royal Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal.
