Kardashian clan issues for Brody

BRODY Jenner hopes his turn on Keeping Up With the Kardashians will help people with father issues. The 29-year-old star has joined his famous stepsisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney on the new series of the hit reality TV show.

Brody says his appearance on the series is all down to his fraught relationship with his dad.

‘‘I reached a point where I really wanted to reach out to my father. It was happening right as they started filming and [producers] approached me and asked, ‘Hey, would you mind putting this on camera?’

‘‘I said, ‘Absolutely’, because I can help out any other person out there that has relationship issues with their father’,’’ he explains in an interview with British magazine Heat.

On the show Brody tells his father Bruce: ‘‘You weren’t really there when I was growing up.’’

Bruce also has daughters Kendall and Kylie with Kris Jenner, and Brody insists he is trying to resolve his issues with the Kardashian/Jenner clan.

‘‘We went on a family trip to Greece and I got to know my sisters a lot more,’’ he says.

‘‘We all have a great relationship. But obviously Bruce and I is the one relationship that is not so great and that’s what we’re working on.’’

Brody recently revealed he is yet to meet Kim’s baby daughter North with rapper Kanye West.

‘‘It’s so new, so I’m going to give her some time and then as soon as she’s ready, I’ll come see her.’’
