(2009) and (2012), Murwillumbah Theatre Company again needs people prepared to play animals, this time of the English countryside variety. Auditions for The Wind in the Willows will be held on Wednesday at 7pm at the Canvas and Kettle meeting room, next to the Murwillumbah Auditorium. Murwillumbah Theatre Company has a long tradition of producing live theatre for young people. These productions are very often the first exposure to live theatre that local children experience. The play has been adapted from the well-known novel by Kenneth Graham Grahame. John Morley has taken the well-loved characters of Toad, Mole, Ratty and Badger from The Wind in the Willows and woven their exploits into an exciting adventure story for all the family. The production plays late October and early November. Call director Bryanne Jardine on 0402 052 160 for details.
