PHOENIX Ensemble will host its last audition call for 2013 – for director Steve Pearton’s It’s A Wonderful Life – at its Beenleigh theatre on August 31 from 10am. Based on the 1946 film, the story is simple but poignant – George Bailey has spent his entire life giving up his big dreams for the good of his home town, Bedford Falls, as we see in flashback. GOLD Coast Little Theatre will host Drinks with the Director of The Glass Menagerie at its Southport theatre on August 27 from 6pm.
