Battling dozen hope X marks the spot
The Top 12 head into live shows, writes
CHANNEL 7’s TV talent show The X Factor has unveiled a Top 12 acts that include two from southeast Queensland. One is Logan-based Swedish boy band JTR, made up of brothers John Ludenbach, 23 and his brothers Tom, 20 and Robin, 19.
The group spend six months of the year in Logan and six in Sweden. Mum is a singer, songwriter and TV favourite in her homeland. back to replace a drop out. Im is mentored by Dannii Minogue, joining Sydney vocal teachers Barry Southgate, 30 and Cat Vas, 27, both of Sydney in the overs category.
JTR are mentored by Natalie Bassingthwaighte, who also works with Sydney girl group Adira-Belle and Mix Group, a trio of three performers who impressed the judges at bootcamp and were put together to compete.
LMFAO’s Redfoo mentors Joelle Hadjia, 22, of Sydney; Jiordan Tolli, 18, of Melbourne and Ellie Lovegrove, 18, of Adelaide. Ronan Keating mentors Jai Waeford, 14, of Sydney; Taylor Henderson, 19, of Geelong; and Omar Dean, 19, of Melbourne.
Contestants have received makeovers this week ahead of the live finals series which launches Sunday.
