Bat­tling dozen hope X marks the spot

CHAN­NEL 7’s TV tal­ent show The X Fac­tor has un­veiled a Top 12 acts that in­clude two from south­east Queens­land. One is Lo­gan-based Swedish boy band JTR, made up of broth­ers John Lu­den­bach, 23 and his broth­ers Tom, 20 and Robin, 19.

The group spend six months of the year in Lo­gan and six in Swe­den. Mum is a singer, song­writer and TV favourite in her home­land. back to re­place a drop out. Im is men­tored by Dan­nii Minogue, join­ing Syd­ney vo­cal teach­ers Barry South­gate, 30 and Cat Vas, 27, both of Syd­ney in the overs cat­e­gory.

JTR are men­tored by Natalie Bass­ingth­waighte, who also works with Syd­ney girl group Adira-Belle and Mix Group, a trio of three per­form­ers who im­pressed the judges at boot­camp and were put to­gether to com­pete.

LMFAO’s Red­foo men­tors Joelle Had­jia, 22, of Syd­ney; Jior­dan Tolli, 18, of Melbourne and El­lie Love­grove, 18, of Ade­laide. Ro­nan Keat­ing men­tors Jai Wae­ford, 14, of Syd­ney; Tay­lor Hen­der­son, 19, of Gee­long; and Omar Dean, 19, of Melbourne.

Con­tes­tants have re­ceived makeovers this week ahead of the live fi­nals se­ries which launches Sun­day.
