Aussie Liam Hemsworth stars as an ambitious technology whiz who finds himself living the high life after being blackmailed by his former boss Nicolas Wyatt (Gary Oldman) into working for and stealing secrets from rival tech billionaire Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford). They say: Sets itself up as a sharp look at the amoral nature of business in executive suites but ends up restating the obvious. Good work from Oldman and Ford isn’t enough to make up for the lumbering screenplay. Wesay: This espionage thriller from Australian director Robert Luketic ( Legally Blonde, The Ugly Truth) would have played better as a corporate comedy. Hemsworth’s lack of charisma doesn’t help. (Report, Page 12.) Running time 108 mins. Screens at Nerang, Robina, Pacific Fair, Tweed City, Harbour Town, Australia Fair, Coolangatta.
