The Gold Coast Bulletin - Play Magazine - - MOVIES -

Mother and Son favourite Henri Szeps stars as a wealthy tycoon who pretends he is dying to see how his children react to the possibility that they might miss out on their inheritance. Also stars Dave Yarrow, Rod Ansell and Barry Shepherd. They say: Writer and director Gerald Lawson’s independent film was a hit with audiences when it premiered in his hometown of Newcastle last month. Word-of-mouth buzz was strong, with older viewers in particular connecting with the comedy/drama’s storyline. (Report, Page 11.) Wesay: Anchored by the talents of acclaimed Australian stage and screen actor Szeps, McLean’$ Money should strike a chord with its target audience – older parents, baby boomers, the happily retired and fans of Aussie comedy.

Running time 97 mins. Screens exclusively at Pacific Fair.
