From now un­til Novem­ber, clas­sic old-school films screen at Robina in a reg­u­lar cin­ema each Sun­day and in Gold Class the fol­low­ing Mon­day. Dubbed Flash­back Sun­days, the pro­gram of master­pieces fea­tures ses­sions of The Break­fast Club (Sun­day and Mon­day), Blues Broth­ers (Septem­ber 29-30), Grease (Oc­to­ber 6-7), The Un­touch­ables (Oc­to­ber 13-14), Labyrinth (Oc­to­ber 20-21), Back to The Fu­ture 2 (Oc­to­ber 27-28) and Pulp Fic­tion (Novem­ber 3-4). This week’s retro mas­ter­piece, writer/di­rec­tor John Hughes’ clas­sic ’80s teen drama The Break­fast Club, tells the story of a Satur­day morn­ing de­ten­tion pe­riod that turns into a bond­ing ses­sion be­tween five high school stereo­types. Stars Emilio Estevez, Judd Nel­son, Molly Ring­wald and All Sheedy. Run­ning time 97 min­utes. Screens Sun­day and Mon­day at Robina.
