The Breakfast Club
From now until November, classic old-school films screen at Robina in a regular cinema each Sunday and in Gold Class the following Monday. Dubbed Flashback Sundays, the program of masterpieces features sessions of The Breakfast Club (Sunday and Monday), Blues Brothers (September 29-30), Grease (October 6-7), The Untouchables (October 13-14), Labyrinth (October 20-21), Back to The Future 2 (October 27-28) and Pulp Fiction (November 3-4). This week’s retro masterpiece, writer/director John Hughes’ classic ’80s teen drama The Breakfast Club, tells the story of a Saturday morning detention period that turns into a bonding session between five high school stereotypes. Stars Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and All Sheedy. Running time 97 minutes. Screens Sunday and Monday at Robina.
