Demand pulls Kuepper back

The Gold Coast Bulletin - Play Magazine - - LIVE ’N’ LOUD -

ED Kuepper (pictured), one of the most influential Australian musicians of the past four decades, returns to the Gold Coast for an intimate ‘‘solo and by request’’ show. Just back from an international Bad Seeds tour, Kuepper will be armed with only his voice, a couple of acoustic guitars and a stomp box. Playing crowd favourites from his endless list of solo albums, the guitarist, vocalist and songwriter will revisit songs from his other bands – punk outfits The Saints, Laughing Clowns and The Aints. Kuepper may debut material from his forthcoming album – the first of new material since Jean Lee And The Yellow Dog in 2007.

Ed Kuepper plays The SoundLounge, Currumbin, tomorrow night.
