Sylvie serves a cabaret show

SYLVIE Pal­adino per­forms an evening of cabaret at The Base­ment at The Arts Cen­tre Gold Coast at the end of month. Pal­adino had been sched­uled to visit last month but was forced to post­pone due to ill­ness. She re­turns on Oc­to­ber 31. The pop­u­lar songstress is well known from her mu­si­cal the­atre per­for­mances. She launched her the­atri­cal ca­reer play­ing Epo­nine in the Australasian tour of Les Mis­er­ables and went on to per­form the role on Lon­don’s West End. In 1997, Pal­adino re­turned to Lon­don to per­form the role of Fan­tine in Les Mis­er­ables, per­form­ing the role for two years. The star of such shows as Cats, Miss Saigon, Mamma Mia and Chess, is also a Car­ols by Can­dle­light favourite. Pal­adino will show­case songs from her de­but solo al­bum On My Own, ac­com­pa­nied by David Cameron on pi­ano. Phone 5588 4000 to book.
