SINGER Neil Finn (pictured) will return to Australian stages next year to showcase his new album, Dizzy Heights. The album, to be released in February, is Finn’s third solo record. Fans will get the chance to hear his new songs live as well as Finn’s Split Enz and Crowded House classics when the Kiwi singer tours Australia in March. ‘‘I have a long-lasting and unique connection with Australian audiences and want to make this upcoming tour quite special,’’ Neil says. Finn toured Australia with Aussie great Paul Kelly earlier this year and says he’s excited by the prospect of appearing under his own name. ‘‘I am able to bring out a personal selection of the best songs of all of the eras of my musical life,’’ Finn says. US folk singer Joshua James will be Finn’s special guest on the Dizzy Heights tour.
Neil Finn and Joshua James play the Concert Hall at QPAC, in Brisbane, on March 7.
